MÓ Collective is a New York Big Band dedicated to perform Brazilian music. It is a project by Rafael Piccolotto de Lima (conductor) and Lívio Almeida (saxophone).

The repertoire integrates traditional and historical arrangements along with original new works exploring the full potential of the large ensemble.

The ensemble serves as a portrait of the Brazilian production for the big band at the same time that it is as a laboratory for new creations.

Our premiere happened on June 8th, 2017 at Shapeshifter Lab in Brooklyn, New York.
